Alex Mihalski is artist and recent graduate of VCUarts where she studied crafts, printmaking, and art history.
After finishing her BFA, she spent 8 months working as a print apprentice at Wingate Studio. Alex is driven to connect with the joy she experienced when viewing art as a child, and seeks to engage viewers in a playful way, tapping into their own curiosities. She draws inspiration from artists such as Louise Bourgeois, Jeanne-Claude and Christo, and Nick Cave. Recent exhibitions include: All That is Lovely, FAB Gallery, Richmond VA and Craft Consciousness, The Anderson, Richmond, VA.
